She came in grinning and has not stopped.

Not the unsettling grin of Bones, who has earned his through considerable tenure — the bright, wide, stitched-mouth grin of someone who finds the whole situation genuinely funny and would like you to know it. Hot pink from head to toe, black hair sticking up in every direction like it was styled by something electrical, those two solid black button eyes sitting above that grin with the complete composure of someone who is in on a joke and is giving you every opportunity to get there yourself.

They call her Jolly.

She is the pink of something that decided early on that if you are going to be vivid you might as well commit, and has spent every moment since in full commitment. She is round and bright and takes up her space with the cheerful confidence of something that has never once been told it was too much and would find the suggestion genuinely baffling.

The chest patch is her masterstroke — black, stitched down in pink, and on it a skull rendered in the same warm pink as everything else about her. Not threatening. Not gothic. Simply a skull wearing her colors, which is either a philosophical statement or a fashion choice and Jolly has communicated, without words, that she sees no meaningful distinction between the two.

The grin below those dark eyes says: yes, and?

Temperament: Relentlessly cheerful. Unintimidated. The specific joy of something that looked at all the dark material and decided to make it pink.
Special Notes: She and Bones have been placed on the same shelf. The staff felt they had earned each other's company. Neither has objected.

She put a skull on her chest in her own color and called it a look. She is not wrong. She is never wrong about this kind of thing.

Once bonded, separation is discouraged.
