He was not in his room at dawn.

He was also not in his room at dusk, which is when the staff stopped worrying and started simply accepting that his schedule operates on a different set of rules than the rest of the ward. By nightfall he was back in his usual spot, the white fangs catching the light, those two red-crossed eyes bright and unapologetic, looking for all the world like he had simply been out on business and didn't feel a detailed explanation was owed.

They call him Drac.

His face is pale against all that black — white and wide-eyed, with the particular expression of someone who finds the world endlessly interesting and is not above letting you know it. His ears suggest a heritage he neither confirms nor denies. His arms spread slightly at his sides like a figure perpetually mid-bow, or mid-flourish, which is accurate to his general approach to most situations.

The heart on his chest is the dramatic centerpiece of an already dramatic individual — red, bat-shaped, dripping at the edges like something overflowing, like something that has simply never learned to feel things at a reasonable volume.

He is charming. Effortlessly, almost unfairly charming. The night staff adore him. The morning staff wouldn't know.

Condition: Handmade. One of a kind. Temperament: Charismatic. Nocturnal. Devoted with an intensity that is either romantic or alarming depending on your disposition. Special Notes: He has never once explained where he goes. The staff have agreed, collectively, not to press the matter.

He doesn't need to be invited in. But he'll wait until you ask, because he has excellent manners.

Once bonded, separation is discouraged.
